Lost Hope

Suspension Trauma: an effect which occurs when the human body is held upright without any movement for a period of time.

Lost Hope is a short fiction story surrounding an uncle, his brother, and his niece. I want to showcase through this piece my ability to understand building stakes, building a story that has history behind it and potential for something beyond it. There is some sci-fi that might be taking place behind the scenes of this story (perhaps linked to how someone falls that high up and survives) but the main emphasis is on the family themselves. This is a story of how our community can build us up. How they can help us in ways we wouldn't have ever expected. How hope can shine through.
