Chicago Public Library AR Experience (Prototype)

The Chicago Public Library AR Experience is a focused application that hopes to provide greater engagement amongst Chicago's Libraries and it's youth! This Experience allows for users of any age to be in touch with their community, seeing what's popular and finding new books, new recommendations and much more! Alongside this is a new website for those who want to write any message themselves!

Artist's Statement

I'm proud of what I've been able to achieve during the short amount of time I've had with Adobe Aero and the tools that AR affords, to focus on something that could engage with the communities of Chicago in an area that is accessible for all: Libraries! Libraries in Chicago are great and safe spaces for all ages, and I wanted to see how an AR experience could add more opportunities to make people feel connected. It took a lot of effort in order to make it come out looking and feeling as interactive as it can be, incorporating elements of photoshop and really taking the time to experiment with the triggers to make a final product that feels authentic.
